Just an update

The first 24 hours after moms surgery, she was doing great. But they pumped her full of meds and anethestic that it didnt begin to really hurt her until yesterday afternoon. So now she's barely able to hobble around, she doesnt want to get out of bed cause it hurts too much and she's so beyond frustrated right now, its so hard to see her that way.

Dad and I are trying to keep her spirits up, telling her "of course its gonna hurt, they went digging around in your knee, its going to take a few days to begin to feel better" .

Poor Mama. She's so completely my hero this week. I love her to bits.

So I made breakfast this morning and for those of you that dont know, my ankles been hurting me lately (I think I pulled a ligament last Monday) and it felt okay this morning, but after standing on it making breakfast, then standing some more washing the dishes, its KILLING me again. Looks like I'll be wrapping it up again today.

So now I'm about to take a shower since I know for a fact I smell like a piece of bacon and I'm doing laundry and cleaning up a bit...no rest for the weary I suppose.

Anyways, keep my Mom in your thoughts and prayers and hope that she gets back to running around this place soon.

So I was talking to an old friend of mine, her name is Jess, and I haven't seen her in about five years. She just casually mentioned coming down with our other friend, also named Jess, and hanging out down here!! *dances excitedly* Jess (the first one) has to talk to Jess (the second one) to decide if its cool and shiz. But it's looking pretty good. And if they come down, I'm so taking them to Wild Bills. :P

First of all, Happy Birthday Steph!!! You're 21 now, officially allowed to do "all grown up" things.

You and I haven't been friends all that long, but damn we aren't living in each other's heads. You are a wonderful person, and someone I'm proud ot call one of my closest friends. I survived my first saturday working. its a miracle.

It actually went kind of fast b/c there were no interruptions like there usually is when we're at work. Still, i'd rather not have a repeat.

I'm so fucking tired from not sleeping for about a week now, so i'm gonna go nap and then i'm gonna get Steph's bday prezzie done. :) Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Happy 18v CD release day!!

Man I had to scramble to find a copy!! No one had a copy anywhere around me!! I had to have Sam Goody hold a copy for me. And they did (yay). Now the CD's amazing. GO GET IT!!! Or get a friend to send it to you since they love you so much and want to share the wonderfulness of 18v.
Oh!! And I saw a commercial for Best buy advertising the new album and they were showing clips of the video "Victim"...and they showed the part where Keith is playing hardcore...Yeah...I kind of died a little. O_o

2. Steve choked on sweet tea in Jami's cubicle and sprayed it everywhere. Needless to say I laughed my ass off. :P

3. I'm considering getting a hibiscus tat on my left hip this weekend...With this coloring but much MUCH smaller...obvs...

Boo for sleeping like crap last night. BUUUUUT I have some music on my phone which I was actually listening to on the way to work, mostly the 18v stuff (new songs off their album that comes out Tuesday) and their cover of "Beautiful People" which kicks ass. Gonna add some more tonight.

so if your number is programmed in my phone and you want a personalized "ringtone" (its actually a song), just tell me what you want it to be and I'll add it tonight. don't worry about if I dont have it. Limewire is my friend. :P

*sigh* My sis got home okay. She had me worried. I was on the comp (with the cell right next to me) til about 1:30am, then I decided to crash for the night. I checked my phone right away this morning to see if she texted, then my email. thank goodness she messaged me on myspace. I was about to worry my head off.

So a sucky travel day for her but she's home safe and sound. I am going to start getting ready to head up to the pool for a bit and my tats itching like a mofo. Tomorrow, we're going out on the boat that my mom rented for my dad for his bday. The men are fishing, the women are drinking. :P I plan to have a bit of a darker tan come monday.

And then monday night, I'll have my laptop and everything will me right in the world. YAY. *dances*

If I'm not able to get on for the rest of the weekend, everyone have a good one and be safe. Sis, rest up for Monday, k?? Love you to bits.
